The Waukesha County owned course was purchased by the Storms Family in 2020 after a “grass roots” movement and rally from The Wanaki faithful and savewanaki.org in 2019 and 2020 that kept the golf course from bulldozers. The Storms Family operated golf course will be adding a full service bar and restaurant among other upgrades to the clubhouse, while keeping the course layout and the superb conditions that golfers have come to expect for 50 years.

The property sits on what was an 1800’s sawmill that utilized the current day Fox River at it’s center. Oddly enough, the first documented murder in Waukesha County occurred on this property in 1845 when an argument between sawmill business partners turned bad.

This certificate is good for 10 holes for 2, includes a cart and can be used any weekday, and weekends after 1pm until October 2024.
